I am an highly motivated second-year Master’s student in Cybersecurity at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, with a strong passion for ethical hacking and penetration testing.
During my Master’s program, I have particularly enjoyed courses like “Ethical Hacking”, “Building Networked System Security” and “Language-based Security”. My favourite of the three however remains “Ethical Hacking”, where I gained practical experience simulating attacker behaviour through various stages of a penetration test. This included tasks like reconnaissance, initial access, privilege escalation, maintaining persistence, and data exfiltration. The course provided a valuable perspective on attacker methods, allowing me to assess the security posture of computer systems more effectively.
I am currently working as a teaching assistant at the KTH. I worked as a penetration tester during the summer on the infrastructure of the Ethical Hacking course and now I am involved in providing support to the students who are attending the course.
Additionally, I hold the eJPTv2 certification from INE Security. I am currently studying for the CPTS certification from HTB to continue improving my skills in this field. When I have time I also try to post writeups about how to solve machines on HTB on my personal blog.
